Sunderland vs Wolves: Weather update, ticket information, away guide

Sunderland are set to take on Wolves on Saturday, with Regis Le Bris presented with another opportunity to pull away from the relegation zone.

The Black Cats will be aiming to continue their fine form in the Premier League after the international break, as they face an Old Gold side without a win this season in the division.

A win against Wolves could see Sunderland break a record, with their good start propelling them up to ninth in the table.

As result, Sunderland go in as the favourites for the clash at the Stadium of Light.

Now, Mackem News has highlighted everything you need to know ahead of the clash.

Dull day expected for Sunderland vs Wolves

After the antics of Storm Amy in Sunderland’s game against Manchester United, many fans will be hoping for good weather on Sunday.

Unfortunately, the Met Office on 15 October is predicting another cloudy day up north.

The temperature is expected to hit a high of 14 degrees and could drop as low as 11 degrees after the match.

Luckily, the chance of precipitation is believed to be low, a below five per cent.

Sunderland vs Wolves close to sell out

It will come as little surprise to know that there are no general admission tickets for home fans at the Stadium of Light on Saturday.

Sunderland fans have taken advantage of their great form to go see another entertaining match.

However, there are still premium experiences available to buy for those desperate to go.

Wolves are also close to selling out away allocation despite their dreadful form.

There are only a handful of tickets left, with Sunderland giving the Old Gold side a 3,026 allocation.

Away guide for Stadium of Light

For any Sunderland or Wolves fans heading to the Stadium of Light for the first time, there is plenty of travel information to be aware of.

If travelling by car, there is limited parking available around the stadium.

The Stadium of Light Metro Station, or within the city centre itself, could provide the best route for fans.

If travelling by train, the nearest station is Sunderland Railway Station, and it is a 15-20 minute walk away.
