Le Bris confirmed that Dan Ballard was missing due to injury, but should be expected to return for the following clash with Aston Villa.
The 49-year-old is already without a host of first-team players, including Romaine Mundle, Dennis Cirkin, and Luke O’Nien.
Now, the Black Cats are without Le Fee after their manager confirmed why the 25-year-old was missing from the matchday squad.
Le Bris said that his midfielder picked up a small injury on Friday, but did not elaborate on the setback.
After signing on loan in January, Le Fee picked up an injury that meant he missed five key Championship games.
