Wilson Isidor valuation skyrockets as Aston Villa eye Sunderland history-maker
Wilson Isidor’s adaptation to the Premier League has attracted interest at Sunderland.
Sunderland were, and still are, among the favourites for relegation this season, but their start to the campaign has raised a few eyebrows.
After seven games, the Black Cats have picked up 11 points, with several of their summer arrivals already hitting the ground running.
Questions were asked as to how well those who featured in the Championship would adapt to the Premier League, and Isidor has already showcased his worth.

Aston Villa linked with Wilson Isidor
Isidor scored three in his first five games this season, and by doing so, he became the first player to achieve that feat for Sunderland since Steven Fletcher in 2012.
All three of his goals have arrived at the Stadium of Light, with Football Insider previously reporting that Aston Villa had been eyeing a move for the forward.
Sunderland’s valuation of the striker was said to be around £35million, and Ian Darke thinks that it is more than fair for someone of his quality.
Speaking exclusively to Mackem News, he said: “Well, he’s scored in every home game so far, so I would say his value is going up by the week at the moment because he’s elbowed his way into the starting line-up and he’s keeping his place.
“The question at the start of the season was how many of them could step up and cut it in the Premier League, but it looks like Isidor’s one of those who can, so that’s very good news for Sunderland.
“They probably don’t have to think about going and getting another striker to replace him in January because one of the biggest problems for any club coming into the Premier League from the Championship is, are they going to score enough goals?
“He’s come up with three in seven games so far, so happy days.”
Sunderland gave a gem with Wilson Isidor
Isidor can be frustrating at times, but when it comes to having a striker who can take chances when they arrive, he is by far the best placed in Sunderland‘s squad.
The 25-year-old is massively overperforming his xG so far this season, and has already showcased the fact that he can provide big moments in big games.

Sunderland’s main issue is getting service to him, and if Regis Le Bris can solve that issue, the Black Cats have a top-level Premier League striker on their hands.
Brian Brobbey is still waiting for his chance at Sunderland, while Eliezer Mayenda still has a lot to prove, leaving Isidor as the main man at the Stadium of Light for now.
