Supercomputer predicts what’ll happen in Sunderland vs Brentford
Sunderland will be hoping to get back to winning ways against Brentford after a mixed start to the season
Sunderland started with a 3-0 win against West Ham on the opening day but Regis Le Bris’ side were brought back down to earth following a 2-0 defeat at Burnley last time out.
Sunderland were also knocked out of the EFL Cup in embarrassing fashion, losing to League One Huddersfield Town on penalties.
They now take on a Brentford side who have had a brilliant week, defeating Aston Villa to secure their first Premier League win, and overcoming a tricky test on the south coast by knocking Bournemouth out of the EFL Cup.

Brentford slight favourites for Sunderland clash
Despite the fact Brentford are still finding their feet under new manager Keith Andrews, their impressive week has left them as slight favourites in this game.
According to Opta Analyst, Brentford have a 37 per cent chance of leaving the Stadium of Light with all three points.
The Black Cats are said to have a 34 per cent chance of securing their second victory of the season, while the outcome of a draw is predicted at 27 per cent.

With this being their first meeting since 2018, and with both clubs starting the Premier League season in near near-identical fashion, Sunderland will be out to find an edge to defeat the West Londoners.

Regis Le Bris ready to make wholesale changes yet again
Sunderland made 11 changes for Tuesday’s EFL Cup defeat, so Le bris will likely be reverting back to the side that has primarily featured in the Premier League.
Granit Xhaka, Habib Diarra and Noah Sadiki look set to resume their starting roles in midfield, having impressed in their first few games as Sunderland players.
Eliezer Mayenda scored Sunderland’s first goal back in the top flight, and despite Marc Guiu’s impressive performance against Huddersfield, it is expected Mayenda will get the nod.
One player who may retain his place is French defender Nordi Mukiele, who made his debut on Tuesday night.
Mukiele signed for £9.5m from French giants Paris Saint-Germain, and look assured throughout the game.
Sunderland ace Dan Ballard remains sidelined with a groin injury, so Mukiele is the current favourite to take his place against Brentford.
