Sunderland vs Fulham Premier League result predicted by supercomputer
Sunderland are looking to get back to winning ways as they host Fulham on Sunday.
Regis Le Bris’ side sit 11th in the Premier League standings, after an inconsistent run of form – winning just two of their last five.
The Black Cats did get back to winning ways in the FA Cup last weekend though, with a 1-0 win against Oxford United.
They welcome Fulham to the Stadium of Light, with the Cottagers sitting both two points and two places behind Sunderland.
A win this weekend is huge, aiding Sunderland in their European chase heading into the season’s crunch point.

What does the supercomputer think will happen in Sunderland vs Fulham?
The hosts are looking to get back to winning ways in the league after their recent run, and Opta‘s supercomputer is predicting a tight encounter on Wearside.
Though crucially for Black Cats fans, a home win is predicted, with a 39.5 per cent chance of Sunderland coming out on top.
| Result | Percentage |
| Sunderland win | 39.5% |
| Fulham win | 33.9% |
| Draw | 26.6% |
Fulham, who sit 13th in the standings, have been handed a 33.9 per cent chance of picking up three points, while a draw is the least likely outcome according to Opta, with a 26.6 per cent chance.
A win would be huge for Sunderland’s European charge
Sunderland have adapted to Premier League life seamlessly following their ascent last May, and have jumped straight into the European race as a result.
The Black Cats’ form has dipped as of late, with just two league wins in 2026 thus far, but the fixture list begins to look up after a tough double header against Arsenal and Liverpool.
With Bournemouth, Leeds and Brighton to follow, a win against Fulham would be huge for Sunderland as they look to build momentum ahead of the season’s crunch point.
Le Bris’ side are in need of a boost after their recent run of form, and the supercomputer believes that they will get exactly that.
