Sunderland vs Aston Villa: Weather forecast, ticket details and travel information

Sunderland will return to home soil when they face Aston Villa in the Premier League on Sunday.

Regis Le Bris’ men secured a point against Crystal Palace last time out, meaning they have seven points from a possible 12 already.

If Sunderland beat Villa, then it will be the first time in the Premier League era that they have won their first three home games of a top-flight season.

As for Unai Emery’s side, they are without a win or a goal in the Premier League this season, meaning pressure is on them to bag a victory.

Here, Mackem News reveals the key information about tickets, travel, and the expected weather for the game at the Stadium of Light.

Sunderland should have Dan Ballard back from injury for the encounter, although he will likely start on the bench.

Le Bris must decide what to do with Wilson Isidor and could potentially rotate his attacking line against Villa.

The Black Cats have only won one of their last 12 against the Villans, but did beat them 3-1 the last time they met in a Premier League game at the Stadium of Light in 2016.
