Sunderland to break transfer record once more after Le Fee deal
Sunderland’s transfer priorities have been revealed ahead of the summer window.
Enzo Le Fee became Sunderland’s first signing ahead of their Premier League campaign for a club record £20million.
The French star, 25, reunited with his former Lorient boss Regis Le Bris in January on a six-month loan from Roma.
Now, Sunderland are looking to further add to their squad as they face a tough battle to stay up in the Premier League.

Sunderland look to sign five new players
Le Fee could be joined by five Sunderland signings before the end of the transfer window.
Fans of the Black Cats are particularly keen on Chris Mepham to return to the Stadium of Light after last season’s loan spell.
A return for the Welshman could be on the cards with the Mackems looking to strengthen the spine of their team.
Another player heavily linked with a Sunderland reunion is Jordan Henderson.
The former Liverpool midfielder was in the stands supporting when the Mackems won the play-off final.
However, according to Sky Sports journalist Keith Downie, Sunderland aren’t currently pursuing Henderson but could consider a move later in the window.
Downie added that there is “every chance” that Sunderland will break their transfer record again this summer.
The Wearside club are set to go for it this summer as they look to avoid an immediate relegation.
The Mackems are still hoping to persuade Jobe Bellingham to stay with a fee yet to be agreed with Dortmund, but the move still looks likely.
Once Bellingham’s future is confirmed, Sunderland will look to negotiate new contracts with key players.
Sunderland can’t afford to drift away from their recent transfer strategy
Sunderland have been known for their unique trust in young players in the last couple of seasons.
Regis Le Bris put faith in his youngsters last season, including academy graduate Chris Rigg, Dennis Cirkin, and Romaine Mundle.
Now that the Mackems need to invest, they can’t afford to forget the type of players that got them there.
If Sunderland continues to pay big money for players, they must invest in young players who will help the team.
The Mackems already have the upper hand, as young talent will see Sunderland as an attractive destination to develop their skills.
Arrivals on Wearside must add depth and strength to the talent that the Black Cats already have and not replace them.
