Sunderland summer transfer outlay now £60m+ as Noah Sadiki arrival imminent
Sunderland are showing some serious ambition ahead of their return to the Premier League.
Enzo Le Fee was the first through the door at the Stadium of Light, with Habib Diarra the Black Cats’ second signing of the summer after a club-record deal was agreed with Strasbourg.
Marcin Bulka was expected to be the third, but Saudi Pro League side Neom swooped at the last minute, with a deal now imminent.
However, it hasn’t taken long for Sunderland to push on again with their transfer business, with another midfielder set to make a switch to Wearside.

Noah Sadiki completes Sunderland medical ahead of transfer
Surviving in the Premier League is a remarkably difficult task, though it seems to be one that the Black Cats are set to have a real go at with all of the latest transfer news at the Stadium of Light.
The most recent update comes from Fabrizio Romano, who has reported via X (2 July) that the Mackems have agreed a deal in the region of £17.2million to sign Noah Sadiki from Union Saint-Gilloise, with a medical already complete.
Sunderland | Transfer fee |
Enzo Le Fee | £19.2m |
Habib Diarra | £30m |
Noah Sadiki* | £17.2m* |
Sadiki typically operates as a midfielder, though his versatility has also seen him cover efficiently at right-back. As a result, this leaves the Black Cats with options.
The addition of the 20-year-old will take the summer spending at Sunderland to north of £60m, with more additions still expected in the coming weeks.
Regis Le Bris is being backed heavily at Sunderland
Since Kyril Louis-Dreyfus took over on Wearside, the Black Cats have been very careful with the money spent on transfers, and it looks set to pay off.
Sunderland are on course to spend over £100m this summer, with their first three additions already amounting to nearly three-quarters of that sum.
The project, often described as an ambitious one, has already seen several high-profile targets make the move, with plenty more expected.
