Sunderland ready new bid for Abline after Romano ‘here we go’
Sunderland have shown no signs of slowing down in the transfer market.
Regis Le Bris’ side have already confirmed the signings of Habib Diarra and Noah Sadiki and made the loan of Enzo Le Fee into a permanent deal.
The Premier League outfit will continue to strengthen until they feel like the squad is at the level that they need it to be to survive in the top flight.

Sunderland in fresh Abline approach after Romano update
Sunderland have already had a bid rejected for Matthis Abline from Ligue 1 outfit Nantes.
A report from the print edition of Sunday Express (page 10 pull-out, 6 July) claims that the Black Cats will try again for Abline, who scored nine goals in Ligue 1 last season.
It states that the French outfit rejected a £17.25million offer last week but are not walking away and could make a fresh approach.
The update comes after Fabrizio Romano gave the ‘here we go’ to the Mackems’ £ 19.8m move for Chemsedine Talbi.
Sunderland need to continue spending spree
The North East outfit’s business has been impressive so far, they have taken a huge march on their rivals in the relegation battle.
Sporting director Kristjaan Speakman has done a great job so far, but the spending cannot stop anytime soon if the Black Cats want to stay in the promised land.

One aspect of their business that could be criticised is the lack of experience that the signings have in the English game, they need to bring in some stars who have that.
A move for former Liverpool star Jordan Henderson makes sense; he is a player with considerable experience in the division and would bring leadership and nous to the dressing room as well as having the emotional connection to the club.
The Mackems have reacted well to losing Jobe Bellingham to Borussia Dortmund, but they cannot lay off the gas now; their squad still needs significant upgrades if they are to have any chance of retaining their place at the top table.
It remains to be seen whether they can do that, however, they are giving themselves a great chance with the deals that they are pulling off so far.
