‘Sunderland new signing could be imminent’ as private jet lands at Teesside Airport

Sunderland could be on the verge of completing a first new signing of the summer.

The Black Cats have already been linked with a number of high-profile deals which could transform their side ready for Premier League action.

This has already seen Enzo Le Fee make his loan from Roma into a permanent deal, with another new face potentially set to join him in SR5.

It appears that this may be nearing completion at the Stadium of Light after a private jet completed a flight to land in Teeside.

Sunderland to confirm signing as jet lands

There have been no shortage of transfer rumours which have brought the Mackems to the edge of their seats in excitement.

The most recent link has seen Matteo Guendouzi emerge as a target if he is to leave Lazio before the end of the summer window.

Despite this recent update, it does appear that another signing is nearing an agreement if this jet is anything to go by.

A private jet with the registration of CS-CHF landed in Teeside on Saturday (28 June) at 07:26pm [FlightRadar24], having taken off from Nice just an hour and 53 minutes before.

This came just hours after also taking off from Paris to land on the French Riviera, which could point to one or two signings being close.

One of which could be Habib Diarra, who looks set to sign from Strasbourg after the Black Cats fended off interest from Leeds United.

The other could be Marcin Bulka, who has been linked to SR5 after a stellar season in between the sticks with OGC Nice.

This jet could prove to have both players on with a view to completing a deadly double deal, setting a perfect precedent in the north east.

Diarra or Bulka deal could be complete at Sunderland

It does seem highly convenient to have two players linked with a move to the Mackems and a flight to be making its way to Teesside.

Although it may prove to be exactly that, there will be many supporters in red and white stripes hoping for the transfer news they’ve hoped for in the coming days.

The addition of Diarra could prove to be excellent, especially as a replacement for Jobe Bellingham after his move to Borussia Dortmund.
