Sunderland must put an end to woeful Manchester record after latest reveal
Sunderland have not had much success against Manchester teams in the Premier League.
Man United host Sunderland at Old Trafford this weekend, looking to pick up only their 15th Premier League point since April, last season.
In the meantime, the Black Cats have already accumulated 11 points from their first six games back in the top flight, as Regis Le Bris looks to establish himself as a Premier League manager.
However, with the two sides set to face off against each other this weekend, the only result that matters is the one on Saturday, and previous meetings do not spell good news for the Black Cats.

Sunderland notoriously struggle vs Manchester-based clubs
Man United are not the beast of the Premier League that they used to be, though they still have some incredible footballers in their squad.
Amad Diallo could return to face Sunderland, while the likes of Bruno Fernandes and Benjamin Sesko will both have huge roles to play across the season.
It will be a tough test still for the Black Cats, who, according to BBC Sport, have won just one of their last 29 away encounters against Manchester clubs.
On average, Sunderland pick up 0.24 points against them, which is the worst record of any other side to have played at least 15 times away from home against either United or City.

Against Man United in particular, Sunderland are winless since 2016, when Wahbi Khazri’s goal was met with a David De Gea own goal to secure a 2-1 victory for the Black Cats.
However, Sunderland are a much better side than they were back then, and will be far more optimistic of a result than they ever have been before.

Ruben Amorim could be sacked if Sunderland win
Sunderland will want to focus on their own game this weekend, though all of the focus will be on Man United and the future of Amorim.
His appointment has been a failure, and it may just be a Sunderland win to force Amorim out of the door at Old Trafford.
On paper, it may seem impossible to get a result there, but as the Black Cats have shown on several occasions already this season, they are more than capable of causing a surprise.
