Sunderland have their first £100m player sale on their hands, if these fans are right
Sunderland players have shot up in value after the Wearside outfit’s incredible start to the campaign.
Regis Le Bris’ side are making a mockery of many people’s pre-season expectations, and currently sit eighth in the table.
The Mackems could not have asked for a better return to the top-flight, even seeing Nick Woltemade’s own goal give them a derby day win over Newcastle United on Sunday.
Eddie Howe’s side could not live with the intensity and passion of the Sunderland players, some of who have really announced themselves on the big stage in recent months.
Sunderland tipped to make huge profit on summer signing
Noah Sadiki was unbelievable against Newcastle, awarded a rating of 9/10 by Mackem News for his performance in the derby.
The midfielder did not stop running for the whole 90 minutes, giving the Magpies no time to settle and bringing a relentless energy to Le Bris’s side.
Sunderland signed Sadiki from Union Saint-Gilloise over the summer, for a reported fee of £14.6million.
However, that figure quickly proved to be a bargain, with the DR Congo international immediately showing his class at the Stadium of Light.
Sadiki turned 21 on Wednesday, prompting one journalist to ask how much the Sunderland man is worth after just 16 games in red and white.
According to Transfermarkt, Sadiki is currently valued at £22m, but Sunderland fans think he is worth far more than that.

Noah Sadiki likened to Moises Caicedo
One Sunderland supporter noted that Moises Caicedo was bought by Chelsea for £100m after just a single season in the Premier League.
There were a number of other Black Cats fans who used Caicedo as a benchmark, believing that Sadiki had done enough to be valued at the same level as the Ecuadorian was when he left Brighton.
Another Sunderland fan noted the similarities between the DR Congo international and Ngolo Kante.
The midfielder is clearly very highly rated among Sunderland fan, but the Black Cats will hope that they can hold onto him for as long as possible.
If Le Bris’ side continue to perform in the Premier League, then there is no reason why Sadiki wouldn’t stay for another season at least.
