Sunderland fans blown away by latest reveal – ‘Exceptional, Sign me up’

Sunderland’s away kit reveal has fans excited to get their hands on it.

As always with the summer, most of the focus is on recruitment, and Sunderland seem prepared to showcase their ambition with that of their own.

Habib Diarra became their club record signing, joining the Wearsiders on a £30million deal from Strasbourg, with many more additions expected in the coming weeks.

The recent links have Sunderland fans very excited, and that has only been amplified by the latest kit reveal.

Wearside heritage showcased by stunning away kit

Ever since Sunderland agreed to partner with Hummel, the merchandise up for grabs has been nothing short of mesmerising.

Last season’s retro-themed kits reached record sales, with fans hurriedly trying to get their hands on the new shirt, and it seems as though it will be no different this season.

The Black Cats have since revealed their new away shirt, a stunning blue fabric, with imagery of the Roker lighthouse, and fans are impressed.

Sunderland’s new away shirt will go on sale this Friday (4 June) with the club shop opening at 8am GMT.

Sunderland need more additions to wear glamorous new kit

The only thing better than a kit reveal is seeing a new player wearing said shirt, and the hope will be that Sunderland fans will be seeing plenty of that over the coming weeks.

With a deal for Noah Sadiki imminent, and Djorde Petrovic and Georges Mikautadze also in the pipeline, some serious progress is being made on the transfer front.

Leeds’ suggestions that Sunderland are overpaying will fall on deaf ears, as the Black Cats look to assemble a squad capable of competing in the top flight.

It is certainly shaping up to be a very exciting period on Wearside, though there is still plenty of work to be done ahead of the season opener with West Ham.
