Sunderland fans all say same thing about Brian Brobbey as new images surface
Brian Brobbey joined Sunderland on deadline day from Ajax.
Sunderland’s search for a striker after Marc Guiu returned to Chelsea was ended rather quickly when the Black Cats acted fast to secure the services of Brobbey in the early hours of deadline day.
The 23-year-old had somewhat lost his way at Ajax in the latter stages of his career there, though he had proven his ability in the years prior.
Brobbey hit double figures for goals in the two previous campaigns, with hopes that he can replicate that in the Premier League with Sunderland.
After new images of the Dutchman surfaced online, supporters are definitely hopeful for the future.

Sunderland have a ‘machine’ with Brian Brobbey
Aside from his goal record in Ajax, Brobbey is certainly most known for his remarkable level of physicality and athleticism.
Watch any given performance of his, and you can see how he uses his frame to his advantage, with Sven Botman already scared of facing Brobbey in the Premier League.
The 23-year-old is on Wearside with the Black Cats now as they prepare for next weekend’s encounter with Crystal Palace, and fans cannot quite believe the size of their new centre-forward, with training images shared online.
One supporter described the picture as “man against boys”, while another was shocked to see how “powerful” the Dutchman appears.
Brian Brobbey is exactly what Sunderland have been lacking
Wilson Isidor has already proved his worth at Sunderland, as has Mayenda, though the physicality provided by Brobbey will give them something completely different up top.
A lot of Sunderland’s play this season has come from set pieces or quick play down the wing, and having that striker capable of holding the ball up will give them something else to aim for.
It remains to be seen whether he is handed the nod for Sunderland’s next encounter against Crystal Palace, though with over a week of training under his belt by then, there is every chance that he features in some capacity.
