Sunderland backed to keep exit-linked midfielder after what’s happened under Le Bris
Sunderland could look to keep their best young talent as the transfer window looms at the Stadium of Light.
It has been a largely positive season in the north east with a win against Coventry City in the playoff semi-final first leg being a particular high point.
This could ultimately see the Black Cats earn a place in the Premier League at the end of the campaign, which could spark a busy summer.
There is bound to be a number of Regis Le Bris’ best young players linked with an exit but at least one has been backed to stay on in SR5.

Sunderland told to keep Nectar Triantis
There is no shortage of midfield talent available at the Stadium of Light right now, which is causing plenty of excitement among supporters.
With Chris Rigg and Jobe Bellingham, the Mackems have two in-demand youngsters who could be destined for a move away.
There is no doubt that either of these youngsters would attract a large fee and leave the Black Cats in need of alternatives.
Loanee Triantis could prove to be an ideal option after a positive loan spell with Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership.

With the Edinburgh outfit looking to earn a place in European competition for next season, there is every chance Hibs want the 21-year-old back again.
With that being said, former Aston Villa midfielder Lee Hendrie has backed Sunderland to keep hold of the Australian once he makes his return.
Speaking to Football League World (11 May), he said: “Obviously, he’s a young talent that’s definitely got bags of potential, creativity. He’s got goals in him and had a good season up at Hibs.
“The luxury of maybe trying to play in Europe and forecasting your skills and flair might suit him better. Will Sunderland stand in his way? That’s the big question.
“Is he going to feature in that Sunderland side? They’re a young side that are certainly up and coming, I think he’d fit the bill to come back to Sunderland and play a big part.
“It’s a big thing for a football club to let players like that go. I think he might’ve gone out to have that taste, and I’m pretty sure they wouldn’t let him go.”

Triantis could be superb for Sunderland
There is little chance that the Mackems keep hold of Bellingham, Rigg and Dan Neil moving into the new campaign amid plenty of transfer interest.
This comes after the success of this season in the Championship, despite a frustrating end to the regular season.
With Enzo Le Fee also likely to return to Roma after his loan spell, the need for reinforcements is going to be huge.
As a result, keeping hold of Triantis could prove to be a wise move and have a telling interest on form in the second tier next year.
Given that the former Central Coast Mariners midfielder has had a positive impact for Hibs, there is no reason why he shouldn’t be given a chance.
