Sunderland £20m transfer already set to go through after Wembley triumph
Sunderland are already preparing for their return to the Premier League after eight years away.
The Black Cats were victorious in the Championship play-off final on Saturday (24 May) against Sheffield United.
The match ended 2-1 after an added-time winner from 19-year-old Tommy Watson.
Regis Le Bris will have his sights set on the summer transfer window, in preparation for Sunderland’s return to the top flight.
Concerns were raised previously that a play-off defeat may cost Sunderland several of their key players.
Now promoted, Sunderland will look to add to their existing squad and maintain as many crucial players as possible.

Le Fee to remain at Sunderland after Promotion
Enzo Le Fee has been a standout after joining the Black Cats on loan from Roma in January.
The midfielder struggled to settle at Roma after moving from Rennes last summer.
Sunderland appeared to be a comforting move for the 25-year-old, due to his close relationship with Manager Le Bris after playing under him at Lorient.
Le Fee assisted in both semi-final play-offs against Coventry City, massively helping Sunderland on their way to Wembley.
Le Fee also performed well in the final, playing the full 90 minutes.
Now Sunderland’s promotion has been confirmed, according to The Northern Echo (25 May), Le Fee will remain at the club as his contract contained an automatic purchase clause if the Black Cats won promotion.
The deal is set to cost Sunderland in the region of £20million.

Le Fee is crucial for Sunderland’s summer development
The promotion to the Premier League has been long-awaited for Sunderland, but newly promoted teams have faced a tough battle in recent years.
Holding onto key players from this season is essential for Sunderland, especially if they hope to make their return last.

Le Fee’s permanent move is promising for the Black Cats, with his creativity in midfield and assistance in driving the team’s attacking play.
Fans will now hope this secure deal can inspire others to remain at the club, including star Jobe Bellingham.
While securing this season’s talent will be crucial for next season’s battle, Sunderland need to be active in the transfer window to bring in both experienced and creative players.
