Roy Keane says this one thing will definitely happen for Sunderland vs Chelsea
Regis Le Bris will be looking for another positive performance from Sunderland at Stamford Bridge this weekend.
Sunderland beat Wolves 2-0 last time in the Premier League, as the Stadium of Light is emerging as a fortress for the Black Cats.
Le Bris’ men next face Chelsea in the league, with Sunderland sitting seventh in the table after an incredible start to the campaign.
Recording two points a game, Le Bris has been praised, and rightly so, as Roy Keane has now turned his attention to Sunderland.

Roy Keane believes Sunderland will score vs Chelsea
Sunderland are in great form heading into Saturday’s fixture, but so are Chelsea.
The Blues smashed Ajax 5-1 at Stamford Bridge in the Champions League on Wednesday night and will be full of confidence against the Mackems.
On the latest episode of The Overlap, Keane suggested he knows what is bound to happen in Sunderland’s game against Chelsea.
Keane said: “Sunderland will definitely score a goal.”
- According to Sofascore, Sunderland’s average team rating is only 0.01 less than Chelsea’s
- Chelsea – 6.87
- Sunderland – 6.86
The former Manchester United midfielder was sitting next to Ian Wright while playing a prediction game over the next round of Premier League results, as the latter suggested Chelsea would beat Sunderland 2-1.
Keane replied: “Yeah, go on then, we’ll go for it.”
Everyone in a Sunderland persuasion should only see this as a positive comment – the fact that respected pundits now see the Black Cats as a true threat – but Mackems will quietly hope for at least a point.
Sunderland could pull an upset vs Chelsea
Sunderland have had some big results this season, and there’s no doubt they are the underdogs against Chelsea.
However, a win over the Blues would surely make for Sunderland’s biggest victory of the season so far.
Chelsea will look to dominate and control the game, and will come for Sunderland, but Le Bris’ side are resolute.
If the Black Cats can weather the storm that Chelsea are bound to bring, Le Bris can utilise his fast attack to score counter-attack goals at Stamford Bridge.
An upset is not out of the realm of possibilities.
