Romaine Mundle sends message to Jobe Bellingham after what ex-Sunderland star did this week
Jobe Bellingham was a popular figure at Sunderland before his summer move to Dortmund.
Sunderland have started the Premier League season very well, and as a result, the pain felt by the departure of Jobe Bellingham has been almost forgotten about.
Jobe was influential in Sunderland’s promotion-winning campaign, and almost everyone on Wearside had already resigned to the fact that he would be on his way to a European club, regardless of the outcome at Wembley.
A move to Dortmund ensued for the teenage midfielder, where he has since marked a major milestone in his senior career.

Jobe Bellingham makes Champions League debut
From day one, Sunderland fans knew Jobe was destined for the top, though many would have been hoping it would have been with the Black Cats.
It wasn’t, but he has found a new home with Dortmund in the Bundesliga, though the transition has been somewhat difficult.
Nevertheless, Jobe was handed his Champions League debut on Tuesday, 16 September, when Dortmund secured a point in a 4-4 draw against Juventus.
The 19-year-old shared his delight at his latest milestone with a message shared via his Instagram account, which reads: “Very proud to make my Champions League debut for my club, Dortmund.
“A new milestone and more learning.”
Several Sunderland stars reacted to his message by liking the post, with Romaine Mundle sending two love heart emojis to his former Wearside teammate.
Life has been difficult for Jobe Bellingham at Dortmund
Despite his potential, Jobe hasn’t been a nailed-on starter for the Bundesliga outfit since joining, and this has already led to some unrest.
In one game, the midfielder was withdrawn at the half-time interval, with his father then confronting the sporting director to question the decision and express his frustration.

Since then, Jobe has only started one of their three encounters and is yet to register a goal contribution.
