Romaine Mundle will return after the October international break
Sunderland will be without Dan Ballard against Palace, and Le Bris has also given an update on other members of the squad
Romaine Mundle is another player who will miss the game this weekend and will be out for a little while longer.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Le Bris gave an update as to when Mundle will return: “I think we are looking at the next international break.”
This confirms the 22-year-old will be out until mid-October while he recovers from injury.
Mundle sustained a hamstring injury in pre-season, which required surgery, and he has been out of action ever since.
