Regis Le Bris faces Eliezer Mayenda dilemma at Sunderland after what happened on Friday
Eliezer Mayenda has been a regular throughout Regis Le Bris’ time at Sunderland.
While Leeds United have been suffering from a lack of attacking options, Sunderland have been questioning who can play where when they return to Premier League action.
Brian Brobbey’s arrival at Sunderland on deadline day threw another spanner into the works, as did that of Bertrand Traore, who was an unused sub in Burkina Faso’s latest encounter.
However, while decisions will need to be made over their immediate place in the Black Cats’ squad, the same will be said for Mayenda, who featured in a somewhat unfamiliar role on his international appearance on Friday.

Eliezer Mayenda features on wing for Spain Under-21
Mayenda cemented his place in the starting 11 at Sunderland after scoring on his Premier League debut in the 3-0 victory over West Ham.
However, since then, his involvement has been minimal, with Wilson Isidor taking the spotlight at the Stadium of Light.
In fact, dating back to the first leg of the play-off semi-final against Coventry, he has completed just 12 passes in his last six competitive outings.
That showcased how little he gets involved, which is why his new role for Spain Under-21s may need to be replicated for Sunderland.
He featured on the right-wing, where he saw much more of the ball, and that is when he is at his best.
Mayenda’s lack of composure in the box is still a concern, and a switch to the wing could be just what he needs to thrive in the Premier League consistently.

Wilson Isidor must lead the line vs Crystal Palace
Despite having yet to start a game for Sunderland, Wilson Isidor is the top scorer at Sunderland after three games in the Premier League.
With Crystal Palace up next for the Black Cats, the Frenchman simply must start up top if they are to achieve a result.
Brobbey is likely to be available from the bench, as will Mayenda, with a decision also needed over whether Bertrand Traore features in the squad.
Le Bris has attacking options now, and it is crucial that he gets the best out of them.
