The 28-year-old has been sensational for Regis Le Bris so far this season, and looks like one of the best pieces of business that the Black Cats have ever made.
The Premier League have released a slow-motion video of Woltemade’s own goal, in which Sunderland’s centre-back can be seen clapping right before the Newcastle striker headed into his own net.
Alderete may have actually put Woltemade off with the move and scared the German into losing his concentration at a crucial moment.

Alderete has popped up with big moments for the Mackems this campaign, notably his winning headed goal against Nottingham Forest in September.
However, his defensive abilities cannot be overlooked, as his statistics versus the Mags were colossal.
