Nordi Mukiele whereabouts revealed for Sunderland vs West Ham ahead of new transfer
Sunderland have had a very busy summer transfer window, and an update has now emerged on their latest imminent signing, Nordi Mukiele.
Mukiele is expected to become the 12th arrival of the summer at the Stadium of Light after Sunderland agreed a deal with Paris Saint-Germain for the transfer of the defender.
Regis Le Bris’ side could pay around £12million in total for the Frenchman after add-ons are taken into account.
And the defender’s whereabouts have now been revealed as Sunderland get set for their return to the Premier League on Saturday against West Ham.

Mukiele expected to be at Stadium of Light for clash v West Ham
After a very impressive transfer window, supporters will be keen to see if the heavy spending has paid off as Sunderland host West Ham at the Stadium of Light on 16 August.
The Black Cats have spent more money than any other side outside of the Premier League’s traditional ‘big six’. As a result, fans will be optimistic about their chance of survival this season.
However, that optimism could quickly fade with an opening day defeat against the Hammers. As a result, Le Bris will be looking for three points on Saturday afternoon, and Mukiele will have a chance to see his new team up close.
As reported by Ian Dennis via X on 16 August, Mukiele is expected to be in attendance at the Stadium of Light for the clash against West Ham.
The 27-year-old’s arrival from PSG is expected to be confirmed within the next 24 hours.
Therefore, there is every chance that the defender could be available for Sunderland’s second game of the season when they travel to Turf Moor to take on last season’s Championship rivals, Burnley, on Saturday, 23 August.
Where will Mukiele play for Sunderland?
Considering Mukiele has been signed from PSG, supporters will expect him to become a first-team regular once he is settled in on Wearside.
The Frenchman predominantly plays as a right-back, but can also operate as a centre-back.
This versatility will be key for Le Bris, and it could lead to Mukiele playing in a variety of positions throughout the season, depending on what Sunderland needs.
