Nordi Mukiele update shared as nine players confirmed out in Man United vs Sunderland team news latest
Sunderland will be without several players for their clash against Manchester United on Saturday.
Chris Rigg will be hoping to continue his starting role, as Habib Diarra’s injury has left Regis Le Bris dependant on the talented youngster.
Le Bris is unlikely to rotate heavily, with Sunderland’s defensive brilliance this season a result of keeping the same players in the spine of the team.
Nordi Mukiele was rumoured to be unavailable for the trip to Old Trafford, with the Frenchman wearing protective strapping in training this week.

Regis Le Bris confirms Nordi Mukiele is fit for Manchester United match
Mukiele has been immense for Sunderland since joining from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window.
In Thursday’s press conference, Le Bris confirmed Mukiele is available despite being a doubt earlier in the week.
As for other team news, Sunderland have no fresh concerns, with long-term absentees Aji Alese, Dennis Cirkin, Leo Hjelde, Romaine Mundle and Diarra all remaining sidelined.
Reinildo’s suspension is still active for another two games following his petulant dismissal versus Aston Villa at the Stadium of Light.
As for Man United, Lisandro Martinez, Tyrell Malacia and Noussair Mazraoui all remain unavailable whilst Casemiro returns from his suspension, meaning nine players combined are out in total.
Former Black Cats loanee Amad Diallo missed out on Man United’s 3-1 loss to Brentford due to family bereavement, yet could return to face his old side at Old Trafford.

Man United are favourites to beat Sunderland, yet based on the form of both teams, you would expect it to be the other way around.

Le Bris spoke about how consistency will play a huge part in their bid to achieve survival in the Premier League.
He said: “I can only speak for me, the consistency is really important for the players, if you change at the beginning, they need consistency to learn from different experiences. From positivity and mistakes.”
