Noah Sadiki ‘one step closer to hero status’ as new Sunderland footage emerges

Noah Sadiki has hit the ground running since his transfer to Sunderland.

Dan Ballard was the talking point of the weekend when Sunderland beat West Ham 3-0 on their return to the Premier League.

However, while it was a colossus display from the Northern Ireland International, every single player on the pitch at the Stadium of Light walked away from the clash with a remarkable amount of credit in the bank.

One of those was Sunderland’s Sadiki, who seems to have acclimatised to life in England almost seamlessly.

Wise Men Say Sadiki is an absolute gem

Only 16 players covered more distance in the Premier League than Sadiki, who had a debut to remember for Sunderland.

He was everywhere, and the comparisons between Sadiki and N’Golo Kante were certainly backed up with his performance against the Irons.

Sadiki is going to go from strength to strength in the Premier League, having already formed a formidable partnership with Habib Diarra and Granit Xhaka.

Not only has he impressed on the pitch, but the way he has adapted to the culture of being a Sunderland player is remarkable.

In footage shared by Sunderland after the win against West Ham, Sadiki was captured singing the famous Wise Men Say anthem, topping off what was an incredible afternoon on Wearside.

Has Enzo Le Fee lost his place at Sunderland?

Sadiki’s success has come as a negative for Enzo Le Fee, who was named on Sunderland’s bench for the clash against West Ham.

The Frenchman was excellent in the Championship and will undoubtedly be able to translate that ability over to the Premier League.

However, because of the performances of the three ahead of him in the pecking order, he may have to wait for his chance to showcase his ability.

With an away clash against Burnley up next, that may be the type of game that he features in, given the likelihood of Sunderland seeing a lot more of the ball.
