Liverpool vs Sunderland result predicted by supercomputer
Sunderland are back on the road on Wednesday when they take on Arne Slot’s Liverpool.
Sunderland secured a 3-2 victory against Bournemouth at the Stadium of Light last time out, continuing their impressive home form.
The Black Cats are unbeaten on home soil, though the majority of their concerns have been on the road, with just two wins from their six encounters so far this season.
Sunderland travel to face Liverpool on Wednesday with hopes of improving that record, though Opta’s supercomputer has something else in store for them.

Sunderland huge underdogs vs Liverpool despite impressive start
Sunderland sit two points above Liverpool after 13 games, with the Reds having struggled under Slot in the current campaign.
The Merseyside giants have won just four of their last 13 encounters in all competitions, with their latest win against West Ham seen as vital to their hopes of getting back on track.
Anfield has already witnessed two losses this season, and Sunderland will be looking to inflict a third on Wednesday, but they are massively up against it in their attempts.
Opta have the Black Cats in with a 13.9 per cent chance of taking all three points against Liverpool, who are clear favourites with a 68.7 per cent chance of victory.

Mohamed Salah could be set to miss the clash due to an early AFCON call-up, which hasn’t yet affected Sunderland.
Sunderland can achieve 42-year first vs Liverpool
Sunderland’s record against Liverpool isn’t the most inspiring, with the Black Cats winless since 2012, when Nicklas Bendtner scored in a 1-0 win at the Stadium of Light.
However, their last win at Anfield was back in 1983, with 18 away encounters since then that Sunderland have failed to win.
Added to that, the Reds are unbeaten in 24 of their last 25 midweek Premier League games, with their only defeat in that period being away to Everton last year.
However, while history may be against the Black Cats on this occasion, the present certainly isn’t, and they will be confident of coming away from Merseyside with something to celebrate.
