Le Bris faces Talbi dilemma after what he did in Sunderland defeat v Hearts
Chemsdine Talbi started for Sunderland as they fell to a defeat against Scottish side Hearts.
Plenty has been made of the business done by Sunderland ahead of their return to the Premier League, which included the transfer of Talbi from Club Brugge.
The Moroccan was scoring goals in the Champions League last time out, with plenty of excitement arriving with him after he checked in at the Stadium of Light.
However, fears are already starting to grow ahead of the new campaign, and there needs to be some perspective applied to the situation.

Sunderland have a gem in Talbi
The Black Cats fell to a 3-0 defeat against Hearts in Craig Gordon’s testimonial, and Talbi was one of two players picked out for his display.
He struggled to get involved in the game and very rarely provided any real attacking threat for the Wearsiders, though he wasn’t the only one.
However, it is vital to remember several aspects behind this signing; Talbi is still just 20 years old and has played all of about 150 minutes with his new teammates.
The squad he has been playing in has been heavily rotated, with a massive focus on getting players up to match fitness before the season starts.
On the other hand, he has shown several glimpses of quality, and with players like him, it will be just a matter of time until he starts to flourish in his new colours.
As of now, Regis Le Bris needs to find his best position and ensure that he is managing the forward on and off the pitch.

Sunderland still in desperate need of new arrivals
The Black Cats have made some brilliant signings so far, but there is still a lot of work to be done before they take to the pitch in the Premier League.
Signing another forward or two will be crucial, as will bolstering the defensive shape, with several linked to satisfy the needs of the latter.
Sunderland have time to address these concerns, and the board will certainly be aware of them.
