Regis Le Bris could make two changes when Sunderland face Rayo Vallecano at the Stadium of Light.
Sunderland’s pre-season has not gone to plan, though very little will actually be drawn from the results, with plenty of positives to take outside of that.

Nectar Triantis given final shot at Sunderland
Robin Roefs looked composed on his debut against Real Betis, and he will be given another chance to get up to pace, with one change expected in front of him.
Nectar Triantis, who has attracted interest from West Brom, could make the squad and may be afforded one last chance to showcase his worth to Le Bris.
He could be partnered by play-off hero Dan Ballard, with Reinildo and Trai Hume on the opposite sides of the defence.
Granit Xhaka wowed fans against Betis, and he could start again, with one change made alongside him.
Enzo Le Fee was left on the bench last time out, as Le Bris faces a dilemma over his three starting midfielders, with Noah Sadiki and Habib Diarra also in contention.
Le Fee could start against Vallecano alongside Diarra, leaving Sadiki to come on off the bench.
Chemsdine Talbi needs to show more
Chemsdine Talbi has shown flashes since arriving, but still has more to do if he is to be starting each week in the Premier League.
He could start once again on the right flank, with Simon Adingra on the left.
Wilson Isidor remains injured, which leaves Eliezer Mayenda to lead the line, with Marc Guiu likely to make an appearance off the bench after his arrival from Chelsea.
