Kris Boyd wowed as Mike Dean reacts to Burnley vs Sunderland controversy on Sky Sports
Kris Boyd could not believe what happened in the first half of Sunderland’s clash with Burnley.
Sunderland knew they were going to have a test away to Burnley, and the challenge got even harder when Dan Ballard was taken off with an injury.
The Northern Ireland international has struggled with injuries since making the move to Wearside, though Jenson Seelt’s return to fitness saw him well-timed to replace him in the early stages of the game.
However, not long after coming on to replace Ballard, Seelt was involved in a huge moment of controversy that caught the attention of Boyd and Mike Dean.

Burnley see goal disallowed vs Sunderland
The opening stages of the clash at Turf Moor were cagey, but both sides had chances to take the lead.
Simon Adingra’s delightful through ball to Chemsdine Talbi was almost finished by the Moroccan, had it not been for the ball rolling inches wide of the far post.
Burnley’s first chance fell to Lyle Foster, who dispatched well into the far corner, but not before Seelt was adjudged to have been fouled in the build-up.
Footage was shared of the incident on Sky Sports News, with both Boyd and Dean reacting to the disallowed goal.
Body said: “By the way, there’s not a lot in it. There is not a lot in this.
“The referee gave the foul now anyway, but as you can see, there’s not a lot in that, Mike.”
“There’s not a lot, but he’s made an on-field season, you can’t do much,” Dean explained before Boyd added: “Oh my days, wow, he’s got to be with one of you, he’s got to be with one.”

Seelt blushes spared, Ballard concern lives on
Seelt was superb against West Ham before he picked up an injury, and with Ballard now picking up a knock against the Clarets, it is clear that Sunderland need another centre-back.
Omar Alderete and Nordi Mukiele have both made the move to the Stadium of Light, but with two injury-prone centre-backs alongside them, options will become limited.
Anyone aware of Tottenham’s failures last season will know how important it is to have strength in depth in that area of the pitch, and now may be the time for Sunderland to accelerate their attempts to sign Jhon Lucumi.
