Jobe Bellingham’s jaw drops at stunning Sunderland footage
Jobe Bellingham is the main talk of the town at Sunderland this summer.
Sunderland supporters, after seeing their side return to the Premier League, would have been anticipating an exciting start to the summer transfer window, though most of the focus has been somewhat negative.
Several players have been linked with a move away from the Stadium of Light, with most of the focus on Jobe’s potential move to Dortmund.
However, that move hasn’t stopped the Black Cats from posting more Jobe content across their social media channels, with the latest post very different to those in the national media.

Sunderland roll back the years with Premier League footage
Albeit now officially, Sunderland have always been known as a “Premier League club”, despite their recent eight-year absence.
The Stadium of Light has hosted some spectacular games in the top flight, while the Black Cats have also travelled to some iconic Premier League venues.
One of the most visited grounds in England has been Anfield, the home of Liverpool, and when Jobe sat down with ex-Sunderland midfielder Seb Larsson, the duo watched footage of the Swede’s debut season with the Black Cats, including his iconic strike away to the Reds.
Sunderland | Games | Goals | Assists |
Larsson | 203 | 14 | 21 |
In the footage shared on Instagram, at 1-0 down, Larsson was on the receiving end of a delightful ball into the box, before hammering home a bicycle kick into the far corner to draw the Wearsiders level.
Watching the footage back, Jobe’s jaw dropped, before letting out a smile, showcasing how impressed he was by the strike.
Of course, both players wore the number seven for the Black Cats, which is the same number Jobe will be pushing for if his move to Dortmund goes through.
Sunderland may be looking for a new number seven next season
Jobe’s move to Dortmund has stalled, according to reports in Germany, though there is still an expectation that a deal will be completed in due course.
The 19-year-old has certainly earned a move, though supporters will be hoping his future somehow remains on Wearside.
Should he leave, the Black Cats need to replace him, alongside bolstering several other areas of their squad.
