Jobe Bellingham is already catching the eye at Borussia Dortmund after his record exit from Sunderland a matter of weeks ago.

Bellingham impressed in the Championship and was a key player as the Black Cats earned promotion to the Premier League last season, which attracted a lot of transfer interest.

Despite Sunderland's promotion, Bellingham decided to leave as Borussia Dortmund came calling, offering him the opportunity to follow in his brother's footsteps.

The midfielder did not face brother Jude Bellingham in the Club World Cup, as he missed their quarter-final defeat to Real Madrid through suspension, with his season finally over.

Bellingham aiming for more success at Dortmund

Despite Sunderland's promotion, Bellingham's exit almost felt inevitable as soon as Dortmund registered their interest.

His brother's success at Dortmund earned him a move to Real Madrid, and the teenager will hope to have a similar impact.

Bellingham was a key figure for Sunderland under Regis Le Bris, and the Black Cats have spent heavily on Habib Diarra as his replacement in midfield, with the immense profit helping PSR.

The midfielder has already progressed from the Championship to the Club World Cup and will hope to impress in Europe and the Bundesliga next season.
