Jobe Bellingham in ‘serious’ Sunderland exit news amid update elsewhere
Sunderland may be left with little option other than to part ways with Jobe Bellingham once the summer transfer window opens.
Sunderland will have no immediate worries about the summer transfer window, with the Championship playoffs rapidly approaching.
Off the back of a defeat at home to QPR, the Black Cats are in wretched form, having suffered defeat in their last five encounters, meaning they are entering the playoffs in the worst form out of any side in the division.
With that in mind, any recruitment plans will be put on hold at the Stadium of Light, but they will be in for a busy summer regardless of their promotion outcome.

Crystal Palace remain interested in Jobe
Jobe has been linked with an exit from Sunderland on many occasions, though up until now, the Black Cats have been able to fight off any interest and retain his services.
However, especially if Sunderland fail to get promoted, they may find it increasingly difficult to repeat that, with a report from Give Me Sport stating that Crystal Palace remain interested, with Jobe said to be a “serious target”.

Oliver Glasner’s side are believed to be targeting a young, dynamic midfielder, and Jobe would certainly fit that bill.
If the Black Cats return to the Premier League, there is a high chance that Jobe remains on Wearside, but a failure to do that will almost certainly see his stay at the Stadium of Light end.

Sunderland at risk of playoff embarrassment
You’d be forgiven for having no optimism heading into the playoffs, given the fact that Sunderland have failed to win any of their last six games, scoring just once.
However, that simply needs to change if success is to be found in the final few games, though a failure to do that will be costly.
Sunderland will lose several players if that were to be the case, forcing them to have yet another rebuild this summer.
