Jill Scott shocked as Ian Wright disagrees on Sunderland vs West Ham prediction
Jill Scott and Ian Wright predicted the scoreline of the Premier League clash between Sunderland and West Ham.
Sunderland play host to West Ham at the Stadium of Light on Saturday, 16 August, after securing promotion to the top flight.
Regis Le Bris guided the Black Cats back to the Premier League after his side beat Sheffield United in the Championship play-off final.

Scott backs Sunderland to beat West Ham
Scott and Wright were part of the Sky Sports Stick To Football panel that included Jamie Carragher, Gary Neville and Roy Keane.
Midway through the show, they predicted the scorelines for all ten matches of the opening week of the Premier League season.
Scott and Keane agreed that the Black Cats will beat the Hammers, predicting a 2-1 scoreline.
However, Wright did not see things the same way and stated that he would back West Ham to pick up the three points against Sunderland.

Scott said at 50:52: “Sunderland will win this. They signed 10 players. 2-1 Sunderland.”
Wright responded, saying: “I’d have West Ham here.”
To which Scott expressed her shock and stated: “Wrighty. Stadium of Light. It’s going to be rocking.”
West Ham would not want to visit the Stadium of Light on the opening day
Despite Sunderland’s status as a newly promoted team, West Ham will dread their opening-day clash at the Stadium of Light in the 2025/26 Premier League season due to the electric atmosphere and the impact of the new signings.
The passionate Black Cats fans, buoyed by promotion, will create an intimidating environment, with over 40,000 expected to generate a cauldron-like atmosphere.
Sunderland’s recent acquisitions, including Granit Xhaka and Simon Adingra, add flair and unpredictability to their attack.
Under Le Bris, these signings are set to feature prominently, making Sunderland a formidable challenge.
West Ham, still adapting to Graham Potter’s system, will find it tough to counter this revitalised side on their home turf.
