Granit Xhaka exit news emerges at Sunderland amid Juventus developments
Juventus are looking to sign Granit Xhaka in the January transfer window.
Sunderland signed Xhaka from Leverkusen, just one year after he led the Bundesliga side to an unbeaten league title victory.
Since then, the 33-year-old has been the driving force behind the success the Black Cats have had on their return to the top flight, with European football genuinely on the cards.
Xhaka has already been hailed by many as the signing of the season in the Premier League, and as a result, he is already being lined up for a January move.

Juventus sent clear answer by Sunderland
Tutto Sport reported on Tuesday that Juventus were set to reignite their interest in signing Xhaka, having withdrawn from a deal in the summer.
At 33 years old, he was deemed to be outside of their criteria, though the report claims that stance has changed after the performances he has showcased in the Premier League.
However, in response to the news from Italy, Keith Downie has shared via X that Sunderland will not be allowing Xhaka to depart in January.
The Swiss captain is said to be happy on Wearside, with no desire to leave the Black Cats anytime soon.
Xhaka signed a three-year deal with Sunderland in the summer, and providing they stay in the top flight, which almost seems a given at this point, it is highly likely that he sees out that time at the Stadium of Light.
What would Granit Xhaka really be worth to Sunderland?
Dan Plumley explained the benefits of what a top 10 finish would bring to Sunderland, and if they are to achieve that, Xhaka will be key.
For each place they finish above 17th, they will receive around £2.7million, and the performances of Xhaka are almost certainly going to impact how high they can finish.
The difference between finishing 17th to 10th is around £19m, which, when added to the total fee of £17m used to bring Xhaka to the Stadium of Light, showcases his worth on Wearside.
Sunderland would never even consider an exit at this stage for their captain, but for them to even take note of any interest, it would simply have to start at the £40m mark.
