Football Manager director pressured into making certain Sunderland and Everton prediction
Miles Jacobson has had his say ahead of Sunderland’s clash with Everton on Monday night.
For the first time since being sacked in 2017, David Moyes will return to the Stadium of Light as his Everton side prepares to face Sunderland.
The Black Cats are full of momentum ahead of their clash with the Toffees, who have won just one of their last seven in all competitions.
Ahead of the game, Football Manager’s Studio Director Miles Jacobson has predicted the result.

Sunderland are favourites for Everton clash
Sunderland have been predicted to lose to Everton by Opta’s supercomputer, and given their start to the campaign, it is a surprise.
The Black Cats have picked up 17 points from nine games, which is their best start to a Premier League campaign since 1999.
A win against the Toffees would take them to 20 points, which would be half of what many assume is the safety net in the top flight, though Jacobson has predicted that not to be the case, for reasons beyond football.
Via BBC Sport, he said: “Everton have lost their last two games and Sunderland are looking strong at home, but Oliver and Paul Collyer, who are the founders of Sports Interactive, are massive Everton fans and I would not live it down if I went for a Sunderland win.”

He went on to predict a 1-1 draw, which, in the grand scheme of things, would still be a solid result for Sunderland.
Chris Sutton follows suit with Sunderland prediction
Chris Sutton seems to have it in for Sunderland whenever it comes to these predictions, having forecasted the Black Cats to drop points nearly every game this season.
Of course, they haven’t, though, once again, Sutton doesn’t see Regis Le Bris’ side having enough to seal all three points on Monday night.
He said: “I am torn here. I am always wrong about Sunderland, and I know that means I have a large fanbase on Wearside.
“Beto misses so many chances, but I am backing him to put his boots on the right feet this week and score to grab his side a point.”
Although Sunderland have just four wins against Everton in the last 24 years, they are a different side this season, and the Mackems will be more than confident of getting all three points, much to the disappointment of Sutton.
