Everything Jobe Bellingham’s done since quitting Sunderland, worrying Dortmund trend starts to emerge
Jobe Bellingham thought he would follow the Jude Bellingham blueprint after joining Borussia Dortmund from Sunderland in the summer.
The Black Cats accepted a £33million, with add-ons, offer from the Bundesliga giant for the 20-year-old.
Kristjaan Speakman was initially criticised regarding Bellingham’s fee, with many feeling the Wearside outfit could’ve demanded more.
However, with Regis Le Bris’ team flying high in the Premier League while the Englishman struggles to settle in Germany, the hierarchy at the Stadium of Light have been vindicated.

Borussia Dortmund struggle with Jobe Bellingham
Bellingham has failed to establish himself as a regular under Niko Kovac, starting just once in the last eight Bundesliga matches.
In the three league matches the English youngster has started for BVB, they’ve won once and drawn twice.
The midfielder has come under heavy criticism from fans at the Signal Iduna Park, as they were certainly expecting someone similar to Jude.
Instead, Jobe has lacked the quality his brother instantly showed at Dortmund, eventually culminating in a move to Real Madrid.
Speaking in his first interview at the Bundesliga outfit, the midfielder said: “It’s an incredible feeling. It’s a great privilege, because it’s the dream of many players — and for a few weeks now it’s been my dream too. I’m very happy to be here.”
However, now the Englishman will surely want to wake up from the nightmare he’s enduring in Germany, with his lowest point coming in Der Klassiker, with the former Sunderland star’s error leading to Bayern Munich’s second goal in the 2-1 victory.
Mark Bellingham not helping Jobe prospects after Sunderland exit
There have already been talks of Bellingham leaving Dortmund in January, with several Premier League teams showing interest in him.
It wouldn’t be surprising to see the former Sunderland youngster leave the Bundesliga outfit sooner rather than later if the lack of playing time continues to hinder his development.

Mark Bellingham hasn’t done Jobe any favours by confronting the German club’s sporting director, Sebastian Kehl, in the first league game of the season against St Pauli, as the midfielder was substituted at half-time in the 3-3 draw, according to the BBC.
It’s safe to say the Englishman’s start at the Signal Iduna Park hasn’t gone as expected, and the doors at the Stadium of Light will surely be open for him.
