Everything German media has said about Jobe Bellingham since Sunderland exit
Sunderland had to let go of Jobe Bellingham in the summer, but managed to reinvest the money wisely.
Bellingham left Sunderland to join Borussia Dortmund, following in the footsteps of his brother Jude in doing so.
The deal saw the North-East outfit rake in a hefty amount of profit, as Sunderland were swift to replace Bellingham.
Other midfield signings have helped ease the pain of Bellingham‘s exit for Sunderland fans, with Noah Sadiki making a good impression under Regis Le Bris.
While Sunderland are flying in the Premier League, reports from Germany highlight the old saying that the grass isn’t always greener, especially in Jobe Bellingham’s case.

Jobe Bellingham labeled as ‘poor’ by German media after Sunderland exit
Jobe’s brother Jude earned a career-defining move to Real Madrid after shining at Dortmund, and he likely viewed it as the ideal place to continue his impressive development.
Bellingham has already come under fire for Dortmund this season, but recent comments by German media have really shown just how much the former Sunderland man is struggling.
TBR Football have revealed exactly what German media outlets think of the midfielder after his performance against Athletic Club in the Champions League.
German news outlet Ran said: “Another poor performance from the Englishman, who had few notable ideas with the ball and was repeatedly outplayed defensively.”
Spox, another media outlet, gave Bellingham a rating of 4: “The new signing celebrated his Champions League debut in the starting eleven, beginning with a misplaced pass after two minutes, which Bilbao failed to capitalize on.
“Overall, he needs to put a bit more pressure on the ball carrier and be more dominant in one-on-one duels. His performance was hardly a case for a starting place.”

It looks like Bellingham’s time in Germany hasn’t started the way he would’ve wanted to, as Sunderland are doing just fine without him.
Bellingham could’ve been thriving for Sunderland in the Premier League
Bellingham was loved at the Stadium of Light, and would likely still be starting under Le Bris had he stayed.
Currently, youngster Chriss Rigg has been playing in a free-roam number 10 position after Habib Diarra’s injury.

With the added quality in the summer, Bellingham would most likely have been a success this season with even more talent around him.
Sunderland are sat third in the most competitive league in the world, the Premier League, as the foundations were there for Bellingham to continue his development at the club.
