Enzo Le Fee returns in two changes – Sunderland predicted XI vs Burnley

Regis Le Bris could make two changes to his Sunderland side when they face Burnley at Turf Moor.

Sunderland’s 3-0 victory over West Ham was the perfect start for their return to the Premier League, and as a result, optimism levels have gone up a notch on Wearside.

Wilson Isidor, Eliezer Mayenda and Dan Ballard were on the scoresheet for the Black Cats on a rather memorable day on Wearside.

However, attentions now turn towards the next encounter, when Sunderland travel to Turf Moor to face fellow newly-promoted Burnley.

Regis Le Bris to start Enzo Le Fee vs Burnley

Robin Roefs impressed for Sunderland in pre-season, and his save to deny an Isidor own goal against the Irons last time out was remarkable.

He will start in goal, with one change expected ahead of him.

Trai Hume and Reinildo dominated defensively against Graham Potter’s side and should retain their place, alongside Dan Ballard, who is growing into a Sunderland icon.

Jenson Seelt suffered a minor injury in the last outing, meaning Omar Alderete could make his full debut, having got an assist in his first appearance.

Granit Xhaka is a nailed-on starter when fit, though there could be a tweak alongside him.

Noah Sadiki is already a fan favourite, but he could drop out for Enzo Le Fee, given the fact that Sunderland will likely have much more of the ball against Burnley.

Club-record signing Habib Diarra should get the nod alongside the Frenchman, making up the midfield.

How Sunderland could line up vs Burnley

Eliezer Mayenda can make a statement vs Burnley

Simon Adingra and Chemsdine Talbi both got an assist last time out, and both are expected to start against the Clarets.

Not only did they impress, but the lack of options behind them makes it nearly impossible for Le Bris to rotate in that area of the pitch.

Eliezer Mayenda impressed Wayne Rooney against West Ham with his goal, and he is likely to lead the line again.

The Spaniard has a real point to prove this season, after being written off by many yet again on Sunderland’s return to the Premier League.
