Eliezer Mayenda hilariously trolls Alan Shearer and Newcastle in new Sunderland video
Eliezer Mayenda wasted no time in becoming a Sunderland hero, and that isn’t changing any time soon at the Stadium of Light.
Wayne Rooney praised Mayenda for the looping header he scored in the 3-0 win against West Ham in their Premier League opener on Saturday.
Even Alan Shearer was impressed with Sunderland’s exploits and named three figures in his Premier League Team of the Week.
Now, Mayenda has thrown shade at Shearer after footage emerged from the North East club.

Eliezer Mayenda places Alan Shearer bottom of Premier League pile
Regis Le Bris put his faith in Mayenda on the opening day, and the 20-year-old rewarded him in some style.
The Spaniard’s headed goal against West Ham opened the floodgates as the Black Cats dismantled Graham Potter’s side.
Mayenda recently signed a new deal at the Stadium of Light, which will keep him there until 2030.

- Scored in his first Premier League appearances
- Signed a five-year contract on Wearside
Anyone who has watched a Sunderland match live will be all too aware of the admiration fans have for the young forward, especially after his Wembley goal in the play-off final.
Indeed, supporters affectionately chant the Spaniard’s name while aiming at Newcastle fan Sam Fender.
Now, Mayenda has mocked Shearer in a video posted on the club’s official TikTok account on 19 August.
The 20-year-old was rating Premier League strikers from one to 10 and placed Shearer at the bottom of the pile amid a wry smirk.
