Arthur Masuaku axed in three changes – Sunderland predicted XI vs Man United

Regis Le Bris could make several changes to his starting XI when Sunderland travel to face Manchester United.

Off the back of Sunderland’s impressive 1-0 win away to Nottingham Forest, the Black Cats are back on the road this weekend to face the Red Devils.

Le Bris has had a superb start to life as a Premier League manager and will be looking to amplify his influence further against a struggling Man United side.

In order to achieve that, the Frenchman could make three changes to his starting 11, with Arthur Masuaku one of those missing out.

Lutsharel Geertruida handed full Sunderland debut

Robin Roefs has been outstanding for Sunderland this season, and he will be in the starting 11 every game until the day he leaves the club.

Trai Hume has arguably been one of the Black Cats’ weaker players this season, but he is expected to start again against Ruebn Amorim’s side, though this time at left-back.

Masuaku struggled against Forest last time out, and he could drop out of the starting 11 to make way for Lutsharel Geertruida to make his first start for the Wearsiders since arriving on loan.

Nordi Mukiele is a minor doubt for Sunderland this weekend, and if he is to miss out, it would mean a return to the starting 11 for Dan Ballard.

Omar Alderete will partner him in the heart of defence, after yet another masterclass for the Black Cats against Forest.

Granit Xhaka is a nailed-on starter for the Mackems, and he will almost certainly be partnered by Noah Sadiki, with Enzo Le Fee also potentially moving back into a central role.

It would see Chris Rigg drop to the bench after a relatively quiet display on their last away outing.

Simon Adingra to return to Sunderland XI

Chemsdine Talbi has not had much of an influence offensively, but his work rate has been crucial to the success that Sunderland have found this season.

He will start again this weekend, and it could be Simon Adingra on the opposite flank, who has been named on the bench for the last few encounters.

Wilson Isidor has been on fire for Sunderland this season and has already cemented his spot in the attack for the Black Cats.
