Amad update ‘to raise eyebrows at Sunderland’ amid latest exit news at Man United
Sunderland had been linked with a move for Amad earlier in the summer.
With the first pre-season game ending in victory for Sunderland, preparation for the new campaign is well and truly underway.
However, there is still a lot of work to do on the recruitment front, despite the fact that the Black Cats have already sealed six new signings ahead of their return to the Premier League.
Simon Adingra was the latest, with a new update emerging on his international compatriot, Amad.

Man United set to decide on Amad future
Amad enjoyed a very successful loan spell at Sunderland in the Championship, and fans were immediately eager to see him return to the Stadium of Light at some point.
The Man United winger was linked with a move to Sunderland at the start of the summer, though those links quickly died down because of his importance to the Red Devils.

However, that could change in the next few weeks, with a report from the Express (14 July) stating that a final decision will be made this week in regard to his future at Old Trafford.
With the arrival of Matheus Cunha and the pending arrival of Bryan Mbuemo. Questions have emerged as to whether Amad has a real future in Manchester.

Amad would be welcomed back to Sunderland
Regardless of whether he has a future at Man United, a return to Sunderland still seems incredibly unrealistic.
He is a top-level Premier League footballer, and while he would get regular game time on Wearside, there will undoubtedly be much better options for the Ivorian should he opt to leave this summer.
Sunderland have already strengthened their attacking options with the signing of Adingra and Chemsdine Talbi, and it remains to be seen whether they will be looking to bring in another winger or not.
