Amad Diallo joins from Man United in double deal – Sunderland’s dream July transfers

Sunderland have already showcased some serious ambition this summer with their early transfer business.

Noah Sadiki’s arrival appears imminent at Sunderland after the midfielder said his goodbyes to his soon-to-be former club, following Habib Diarra and Enzo Le Fee through the door at the Stadium of Light.

However, recruitment is only just getting started for the Black Cats, with several more additions expected before their season opener against West Ham.

With that in mind, Mackem News highlights the two dream transfers that could completely transform Regis Le Bris’ side.

Sunderland would be transformed by Amad Diallo

He needs little introduction, but Amad Diallo would be a remarkably ambitious target for Sunderland this season, though certainly one that would completely change their fortunes next season.

The Man United star enjoyed a spectacular spell on loan with Sunderland and had been loosely linked with a move back to the Stadium of Light earlier in the window.

With the Red Devils in dire straits, and they themselves in need of major additions this summer, it isn’t entirely possible to write off his exit, though should that happen, it is highly unlikely that the Black Cats would be the only ones.

However, his passion for Sunderland could play into their hands if that situation were to unfold, and this would absolutely be a dream addition.

Georges Mikautadze the ideal striker target for Le Bris

Yet another ambitious target has emerged for Sunderland this summer, with links connecting them with a move for Lyon’s Georges Mikautadze.

The Georgian international could leave the French outfit as a result of their pending relegation, though Roma are also interested.

Eliezer Mayenda was the story of the season for the Black Cats last season, and there is every chance he will thrive again in the Premier League, though it is clear that the Wearsiders will be in for a new striker this summer.

Mikautadze would be yet another statement signing for Sunderland if they can pull it off.
