Amad Diallo reacts as Sunderland confirm mega new transfer
Sunderland have been wasting no time in the transfer window and have already secured a wealth of new signings.
The Black Cats have broken their record transfer fee twice already, securing Enzo Le Fee and then Habib Diarra for £30million.
Earlier in the window, Sunderland were linked with a shock move for Amad Diallo, although that would be highly unlikely.
However, Diallo has reaffirmed his love for the Wearsiders by reacting to the latest transfer news at the Stadium of Light.

Diallo loves new Sunderland signing
Diallo certainly represents a dream acquisition for Sunderland, but the winger is very much part of Man United’s plans.
Since returning from his Black Cats loan, the Ivory Coast international has excelled in what has been a woeful United team.
Of course, if his situation changes, then a move back to Wearside could happen, but not for the foreseeable future.
As for Sunderland, it seems that every day brings fresh transfer news, and it is hard to keep up with all the names being linked with the Premier League club.
Having tied up deals for Reinildo Mandava and Chemsdine Talbi, the North East side have announced yet another deal.
This time, it is Simon Adingra who has officially signed as the Black Cats announced his arrival with a video on X (10 July).
Simon Adingra’s 2024/25 Premier League statistics | Total |
Appearances (starts) | 29 (12) |
Goals | 2 |
Expected goals (xG) | 2.46 |
Assists | 2 |
Touches | 20.4 |
Big chances created | 3 |
The Ivorian has joined Sunderland in a five-year deal worth £21million plus add-ons from Brighton.
Diallo, clearly pleased with the move, reacted to the news on social media with a love heart emoji.
Black Cats finally secure Adingra signing
Sunderland were reportedly keen on bringing the 23-year-old to the Stadium of Light in January as Brighton targeted Tommy Watson.
However, neither player moved and remained at their respective clubs for the remainder of the season.
The Seagulls, though, were relentless in their pursuit of Watson and eventually secured his signature for £10million in April.
Watson’s move to the South Coast was met by anger from some Wearside faithful, but the winger cemented his name in folklore with the winning goal in the play-off final.
His move has seemingly led to Adingra being allowed to leave the Amex Stadium, and now he is a Sunderland player.
